Bonterms is transforming enterprise contracting. Startups and global enterprises alike use our Committee-vetted, open source Standard Agreements to engage in faster, more collaborative deal making. Our cloud platform will take the Bonterms approach to the next level with unique, intuitive workflows that enable easy configuration, negotiation and execution of our Standard Agreements.

Bonterms is lawyer-led and funded by XYZ Capital and the law firm Wilson Sonsini.

Business Operations Manager Role

You will:

  • Spearhead improvement across all areas of our business, including open source forms community, cloud product and partners.
  • Manage development of marketing and creative assets and website operation.
  • Support our build partner program and testing and beta release of our cloud product.
  • Oversee collection and analysis of core data streams across our business.
  • Problem solve with both words and numbers.
  • Have an open lane for scaling your responsibilities.
  • Leave smooth, well-documented processes behind you everywhere you go.


  • Raw smarts: you possess strong verbal and analytical skills and are keen to take on and solve complex problems from start to finish.
  • “Net it out” communicator: you absorb, understand and distill complex information quickly and with flair.
  • Flexible: you are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment that requires managing competing priorities, quick and frequent pivots, and continually building new processes.
  • Ownership: you own the outcome — you can envision what successful outcomes look like and execute accordingly.
  • 3+ years of professional experience, ideally at a top tier consulting firm, as part of a strategy or business operations team at a technology company or at high-growth startup.
  • High academic achievement (MBA a plus).
  • Enterprise software or similar experience a plus.
  • No legal training or experience required.
