By very popular demand, today we are releasing a Standard AI Addendum.

AI is now in every enterprise SaaS product, but every vendor is still talking about the key elements using slightly different language. Likewise, every customer is walking around with their own special set of AI Terms. The classic grind that Bonterms was built to address.

The AI Addendum fixes that. One Standard Agreement covering training restrictions, output ownership, copyright indemnification, data handling, EU AI Act compliance and model provider obligations. Five pages long. And because you asked: it's designed to layer on top of any MSA, not just Bonterms Cloud Terms. Whatever base agreement you're already using, this should work.

The AI Addendum was developed over four months of Committee work spanning seven drafts, surveys, redlines and some of our most engaged discussions ever.

The "2.0" indicates that the AI Addendum builds on our AI Standard Clauses, which have been in the field for two years and are consistently one of our top downloads. Those gave you modular clause options to mix and match. The AI Addendum goes further with a complete Standard Agreement with defined defaults, ready to use out of the box, with a Playbook of Additional Terms for common modifications.
