The Marketplace Standards
We provide two specific Standard Agreements for marketplaces. These are freely available for marketplaces to adopt as options for their providers and customers.
Standard End User Agreement The contract between the Provider and the Customer. A balanced, market-standard agreement designed for both Cloud Services (SaaS) and installed software. It supports the "Review Once" workflow while maintaining necessary flexibility: using Provider-Specific Terms, a Provider can attach policies (such as Security Measures or SLAs) or modify the Standard Agreement (modifications are surfaced cleanly to the customer).
Adopted by Atlassian as the standard end user agreement of the Atlassian Marketplace.
Standard Reseller Agreement The contract between the Provider and the Reseller. Allows providers to appoint resellers directly within the marketplace workflow. This eliminates offline negotiations and wet signatures, allowing partners to start selling instantly.
Note on scope: These Standards govern the direct relationship between the provider and its customer or reseller. They do not impact or modify the commercial or legal terms between the marketplace and any customer, provider or reseller.
